Vice President Joe Biden is in Central Florida today. He was joined by Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood and Senator Bill Nelson to deliver remarks at a Clermont construction site.

The Vice President talked about how Recovery Act projects for transportation and infrastructure are improving communities, easing travel, and creating jobs in the Orlando area.
Vice President Biden said that more transportation projects will begin this spring and summer than at any time last year. He said it "means 15,000 guys wearing hard hats and engineers and surveyors, people who are able to make a decent wage and raise a family on, are going to be put to work."
